You can use the Pen Tool to draw shapes on a 2D plane.

How to use the Pen Tool

1. Press p + spacebar to activate the Pen Tool. You can also find the pen tool under ‘Draw’ menu in the top toolbar.

1. Start drawing on the canvas by clicking to place a point. Repeat to draw a shape and you can close the shape by clicking on the first point.

1. The shape will be drawn on a 2D plane!

Editing the curve

To edit your curve, double click on the curve and the points will appear. You can move the points and curve handles around to edit.

Fill, extrude, or pipe the curve

You can fill and extrude the curve in the sidebar to make 3D geometry.
