You can use the Move Tool to move objects and snap them to other objects.

How to use the Move tool

1. Press m + spacebar to activate the Move tool
2. Select anywhere on the object you want to move. This will set the point of interest so that you can snap a certain point to another object.
3. The selected object then moves freely, depending on the mouse pointer’s location and camera
4. Click to commit the action

How to move objects a predefined distance

You can move the selection a predefined distance by entering in numbers after you have Move Tool activated on an object.
