Cameras are used for saving certain views within the scene. They can be made visible from a public link as well.

How to add cameras

  1. Type ‘cam’ to find it in the Command Center

OR

  1. In the toolbar, select the ‘Objects’ menu
  2. Select ‘Camera’ from the dropdown, this will place a camera for your current view

Camera View

You can view, edit, and preview from a camera perspective in multiple ways.

Camera Mini Viewport

The mini viewport is located at the top of the hierarchy on the top left.

To view a specific camera you can click the drop down on the bottom left. You can also embody the camera in the viewport by selecting the mini camera button on the bottom  right.

Editing the camera through the user view

You can position a camera in a scene by changing its transform properties, but you also edit a cameras position with your view inside the editor.

Click on the ‘Edit Camera’ icon to the right of the camera object in the Hierarchy. You can move your camera to the desired position with your navigation controls

You can also lock in or unlock editing in editor with the edit icon on the top tool bar.

Renaming cameras

  1. Double-click on the Camera name in the Hierarchy
  2. Type in new name and press Enter

Locked & Unlocked Cameras

To lock a camera, select your camera and hit the lock button in properties.
